Do Infinity Lights work without Wi-Fi?
Yes! You can control and use your Infinity Lights without an internet connection using the included remote.
If you set up your Infinity Lights on a Wi-Fi connection and it goes out, the lights will continue to display the current lighting pattern.
Can I cut my Infinity Lights?
Yes! You can trim your Infinity Lights to size if they are too long.
Before cutting, please make sure that the lights are not plugged in or else it may cause damage to the controller. Cut the strip using either a sharp pair of scissors, or flush cutters. After cutting the strip you should cap the exposed end using electrical tape.
How do I replace the battery in the remote control?
You can replace the remote control’s battery by sliding out the battery tray located on the back side of the remote. The remote uses a CR2032 coin cell battery which you can purchase at Canadian Tire.
I changed my Wi-Fi name/password, how do I re-connect my Infinity Lights?
To connect your Infinity Lights to a new Wi-Fi network you will need to put them into setup mode.
To do this, hold the power button on the Infinity Lights Controller until the lights start flashing red. Next, open the Smart Life app on your phone and tap “Add Device”. Your Infinity Lights should show up after a few seconds, tap on them and follow the on-screen instructions to add them to your new Wi-Fi network.
Why are my Infinity Lights flashing red?
Your Infinity Lights will flash red when they are in pairing mode. Pairing mode is enabled by holding the power button on the Infinity Lights Controller for a few seconds.
You can exit pairing mode by pressing either button on your Infinity Lights Controller.

What kind of Wi-Fi network do Infinity Lights need?
The Fotis Infinity Lights Controller connects and communicates using the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, which most home Wi-Fi connections should have.
If you have multiple Wi-Fi networks (for example: MyWifi and MyWifi-5G), please make sure you set up your Infinity Lights using the 2.4GHz one.
